LinkedIn Just Rolled Out Live Video. Here’s Why You Should Care
It’s no secret that in the online marketing world, if you’re one of the first to hop on a new feature or platform, then you’re at a distinct advantage compared to those who arrive late.
Although coming very late (in my opinion), LinkedIn introduced LinkedIn Live, it’s own version of ‘live’ video. Better late than never, right?
Other social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram have been offering live video for a while now. So the only reasonable step for LinkedIn is to join the bandwagon.
If your company sells a product, LinkedIn could be an excellent venue for you to showcase your latest feature or update.
If you’re a business owner who is not shy to be in front of the camera, then this new live streaming feature is a great way for you to drive results to your business on LinkedIn.
Do you want to interview some famous person in your industry? LinkedIn Live is the way to go. Are you looking for a way to highlight your takeaways to the keynote presentation at the event? LinkedIn Live is a great choice.
A note of caution. When making your LinkedIn Live video avoid making mediocre crappy stuff. Instead, spend time and resources to ensure the videos you put out into the world will add value to your target audience.
As usual, this feature is being rolled out gradually to all users. Whenever you receive this update to your account be sure to take the time to get ahead of your competitors by giving LinkedIn Live a try.

How Instagram Offers Unique Marketing Opportunities
Much innovation is taking place on Instagram these days; that’s it’s hard to keep up. I’ve not been an Instagram fan in the past, but now, I’m beginning to have a rethink.
You see, the thing is, in the past, the only way to drive traffic from your Instagram account to your website was through a single link in your Instagram bio. This one link for me was not sufficient.
However, with the emergence of shoppable tags, brands can now turn their Instagram accounts into visual storefronts by adding product tags to their images and linking to product web pages.
