It’s that time of the year again when we look back on the outgoing year and take stock of what we’ve achieved and how we can improve in the coming year.
At the start of 2017, I made it a personal goal to write one article a week. For a few years, I’ve made it a practice to list my Top 5 Blog Articles of the year on The Mauco Blog.
This year is no exception. I’ve introduced a twist. In the past, I used to focus on my “most shared” blog articles.
On reflection, doing this doesn’t show you an accurate picture of what’s going on this blog.
So starting this year, besides to the ‘most shared’ articles I’m also listing the ‘most read’ articles of 2017.
I get the data from my Google Analytics and other analytics tools I use.
As a business owner, you’ll need to dive deep into your analytics to see if there are any trends that you can use to shape your activities for the coming year.
But if all these analytics, data, etc., is not your passion you can outsource these services to us. You’ll be glad you did.
From the lists below of my most shared and most read articles of 2017, I noticed a few trends emerge, including:
- Items on these lists indicate that my readers are interested in tips on content for social media.
- My most shared articles show that my readers are interested in how to differentiate their brands from competitors.
- My readers love reading about social media marketing.
- My most read articles are not necessarily my most shared articles and vice versa.
It’s my job to please you and give you the content you need to help you grow your business and be more successful.
So I hope to continue providing you value through the content I post on my blog.
Now let’s take a look back at what you read and shared in 2017.
And if you’ve just discovered my blog, then this post is a right place for you to get an overview of the type of content you’ll see on this blog.
