Since the first issue of my newsletter back in June 2009, I’ve stuck to a format of highlighting valuable tips and tools to help you grow your business online.
And we’re glad that the number of our subscribers has increased over the years. If you are a subscriber, we thank you.
Back in July 2016, I did a thorough review of the data from our newsletter analytics.
My finding revealed that some subscribers were not receiving the newsletter in their inbox!
One reason for this could be that you did not complete the two-step authentication process, and so mailing system doesn’t recognise you as a genuine subscriber, or you have not added our email address to your contact whitelist.
Another thing I noticed was that while some of you receive my newsletter in their inbox and read it, you are not taking the needed action with the content, as I expect.
I notified those affected, providing instructions on how to complete their subscriptions and start getting our newsletter in their inbox.
I also gave them the option to unsubscribe if they so desired.
From time to time, I also send out surveys to our subscribers to learn the content you would like us to provide, the frequency, etc.
The feedback I’ve gathered has been very beneficial in shaping the content of this newsletter over the years.
It is why starting with the January 2017 edition of our newsletter; I’ve introduced an additional feature whereby I will curate tips and tools by industry leaders in digital and social media marketing.
These tips and tools are not available anywhere else on our website and social media channels.
These tips and tools are for you to use in your marketing straight away to will help you take your digital marketing and social media marketing to the next level.
