As the year 2008 gradually draws to a close, we at Mauco have a lot to be grateful for.
Some days ago, I heard someone say ‘…if you want to go fast, you go alone. But if you want to go far, you go with others.’ Mauco couldn’t have made it this far without the support of Almighty God, our esteemed clients, our partners (both local and foreign) and our staff. I cannot fail to mention the encouragement received from family members and friends.
One of the major challenges faced was the epileptic power supply. On the ‘average’ we had like 2 hours of power a day – the majority of which was from our generator! As I’m writing this today, we’ve been using the generator for close over 9 hours. I guess everyone living in Nigeria would has their own tale to tell with regards to power supply. We pray that in 2009 the power situation would improve. NEPA (or is it PHCN) please I beg, give us light.
In 2009, we hope to continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients. We are confident that no matter the challenges by God’s grace we shall continue to overcome them. Wishing you health, happiness and good fortune in 2009.
